  • UI/UX Senior Designer

    We are currently seeking a full-time UI/UX Senior Designer. The UI/UX Senior Designer works with artists and developers to create a user interface that is beautiful and functional as well as a AAA user experience for next generation game projects. Additional responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    • Work with a team of artists and developers to create a AAA user experience for next generation game projects.
    • Creating game wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visuals.
    • Create UI that is both beautiful and functional.
    • Create highly optimized production assets.
    • Work collaboratively with UI developers to implement assets into the game.
    • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, QA, and players.
    • Provide accurate work estimates to ensure team deliverables are met on time and at the highest quality.
    • Define and maintain the overall visual look and feel of the UI throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Develop production style guides for the rest of the UI team.
    • Executing work in a fast-paced environment.
    Education and/or Experience Desired:
    • BA/BS Degree in Design (Graphic, User Interface Design, Interaction Design, HCI) and/or at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of UI/UX for games.
    • 5+ years of game industry experience with 1+ AAA shipped game.
    • Superior UI/UX Portfolio.
    • Highly skilled in Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Demonstrable skills in color, layout, fonts, and understanding the user experience.

  • Technical Art Director

    We are currently seeking a full-time Technical Art Director. The Technical Art Director leads the technical art team to plan, develop and streamline art pipelines and workflows. This Director will lead in bridging the divide between artists and developers by understanding both the creative needs of the project and the tools to best achieve them. Additional responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    • Develop tools that automate and simplify the artist's workflow.
    • Collaborate with production to coordinate the resources, schedules, and priorities for technical art and VFX.
    • Coordinate communication between teams to ensure efficient delivery of AAA content that meets the project's vision.
    • Participate in pre-production planning to determine and address technical design requirements and issues.
    • Assist with technical art as needed: VFX, Rigging, Materials & Lighting, etc.
    • Champion the exploration and implementation of cutting edge technologies and techniques to improve visual quality, smooth technical art pipelines, and optimize resource utilization.
    • Lead a team that provides high-quality technical problem solving throughout production.
    • Contribute a wide range of skills as a hands-on technical artist, with the ability to lead by example while helping to grow a team’s individual skills.
    Education and/or Experience Desired:

    • A portfolio that demonstrates technical art experience in the following areas: characters, rendering, visual effects, and environments.

  • Associate Producer

    We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Producer to help manage game projects. The Associate Producer drives the overall planning, management, and completion of projects. S/he provides project communication to the Executive Producer and the Director of Production. This includes project status reporting, documenting discussion points, and tracking action items. The ideal candidate is a self-starter is responsible for driving projects to success, ensuring delivery on-schedule, within scope, and with high quality.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    • Create project plans, schedules, and milestone requirements.
    • Facilitate communication between the team, management, and project stakeholders.
    • Work with QA to prioritize and resolve issues.
    • Coordination of the game release process with internal groups.
    • Post and manage public change logs.
    • Engage with community to solicit feedback.

    Education and/or Experience Desired:
    • A minimum of 2 years as a producer, project manager, or an equivalent role.

  • Tools Developer

    We are currently seeking a full-time Tools Developer. The Tools Developer creates tools and applications to facilitate the work of artists, producers, and game designers on the project. Tool work covers the entire gamut of improving the game development process from pipeline development, data editors, and debugging information. The ideal candidate isn't just satisfied that tools merely "work", but that the tool creates an ideal experience for its user.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    • Design and implement UI tools used by designers and artists to create content.
    • Work with artists, designers and programmers to create tools/pipelines and workflows as well as determine areas for improvements (speed and to increase tool capabilities).
    • Collaborate with diverse groups within the organization to gather requirements and develop designs.

  • Technical Sales Associate

    We are currently seeking a full-time Technical Sales Associate to generate net-new business from Stardock's Business Software Suite - Multiplicity, Fences and Start 8/10. This position will be focused on converting prospects and upselling established accounts for enterprise adoption. This position will help free trial users of our business software become customers that achieve enterprise wide adoption.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan office.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:
    • Make 25-50 outbound calls and emails a day to small and medium sized business customers and prospects.
    • Follow up on all trial downloads daily.
    • Drive attendance to industry events to meet with our Executive Staff.
    • Work with existing customers to increase software license footprint across the account.
    • Document all new opportunities in a CRM.
    • Set appointments for as required for senior sales staff to support larger deals.
    • Follow a required training plan set by the General Manager/VP Business Development.
    Education and/or Experience Desired:

  • Senior Software Engineer

    We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop games based on our original IP. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience.

    This is a salaried, full-time position at our Baltimore, Maryland office working on current and unannounced projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Implement gameplay features such as spaceship combat and planet exploration
    • Implement low-level engine components
    • Collaborate and problem solve with designers, engineers, and artists to create amazing gameplay experiences
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • 5+ years game industry experience as a software engineer on at least 2 shipped games
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent
    • Excellent C++ and OOP skills
    • Experience with profiling, optimization, and debugging C++
