Today Stardock released the initial details for Fallen Enchantress, the first expansion pack to its latest title, Elemental: War of Magic, the fantasy turn-based strategy game (www.elementalgame.com). Fallen Enchantress includes significant changes to the existing game as well as massive new content additions, including spells, magical equipment, quests, locations and creatures. Additionally, the company confirmed that the expansion pack will be free for all fans that purchased the original game in 2010. Fallen Enchantress is scheduled for Q2 of 2011.

Stardock Entertainment, independent publisher of games including Sins of a Solar Empire, Demigod and Elemental: War of Magic has hired Civilization V Lead Designer Jon Shafer to help lead the studio's design and modding efforts. Shafer will bring additional modding expertise to the recently launched Elemental: War of Magic and will take the lead in designing the next as-of-yet unannounced Stardock title.

Stardock Entertainment continues to bolster its development staff as renowned fantasy and science fiction writer/editor Dave Stern joins Stardock to oversee creative storytelling and lore implementation in all future projects, including the recently launched Elemental: War of Magic (www.elementalgame.com). Stern, author of numerous books including the novelizations of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and The Blair Witch Project and former editor of Pocket Books Star Trek and science fiction lines, was responsible for putting together the Hiergamenon lore book for Elemental: War of Magic Limited Edition. Stern will head up all further integration of the Elemental: War of Magic lore into the increasingly popular strategy title as Stardock continues to offer unparalleled post release support for the game.
