![]() MyColors is a utility that allows you to change the graphic images that appear on your computer monitor: wallpaper, window frames, icons, start menu, taskbar, gadgets and more. These graphics are referred to as a "Theme" that corresponds to a wide variety of categories, such as: sports teams, automotive, holiday, inspired and more. Themes are also known as "skins", because they cover your desktop with various colors and features. After purchasing your first MyColors theme, you will download and install the MyColors Theme Manager. After installation, you will be prompted to type in the email address you used at the Stardock or Affiliate online store and type in the Serial Number emailed to you. After the Serial Number is successfully validated, the theme will download into the MyColors Theme Manager and can be applied to your desktop changing the graphics into a completely new environment. Upgrading from Previous VersionsCustomers with versions of MyColors Theme Manager purchased before January 2008 can visit www.stardock.com/support/ to download the latest version (build). Versions after January 2008 included the ability to self-check for software and theme updates.UpdatesThe MyColors Theme Manager will automatically check for updates (i.e. Theme Manager, themes) and notify you before downloading. Alternately, you can force it to check for software updates by running the MyColors Theme Manager. On the "Settings" tab, click on the "Check For Updates" button and MyColors will notify you of any updates. When emailing, please include as much information about your computer (Version of Windows, Type of Computer, etc.) along with the System Information in MyColors. This information can be found by opening the “Settings” tab, then clicking on “System Information”. Use the “copy text” button to save to the clipboard then paste the information into the email that you send.
