MyColors is a safe way to change the look and feel of your Windows desktop. In other words, it is a
way to make the graphical part of Windows look the way you want it to. MyColors Themes are basically
a collection of specialized artwork that is applied to your Windows desktop using industry proven and
highly supported software. At any time, you are able to convert back to your original desktop with a
click of a button. Nothing will be permanently changed on your system, so you can have fun and try
many different themes. MyColors changes things like your wallpaper, start menu, start bar, window
borders and much more. It’s fun and safe, so what are you waiting for?

* Please note that MyColors distribution (like this one) only allow
for the use of "signed" theme files. For these special editions,
you will only be able to use certain themes that have been made
available for MyColors.
Ordering the full version of Object Desktop (www.objectdesktop.net)
will include the enhanced versions of all its components for use with
the thousands of suites, icons, skins, themes, and wallpapers available
at http://www.WinCustomize.com/.
Getting Started
Congratulations, you have just purchased a MyColors theme from Stardock! You should receive an e-mail within a matter of moments with a download link and serial number.
Download the MyColors program from the link provided. Double-click on the Mycolors.exe and follow the instructions to install.

I am new to desktop themes, how do I use MyColors?
MyColors is easy to use, simply choose a theme from the MyThemes tab within MyColors and hit the Apply
button. Within seconds, your selected theme will be applied across virtually every aspect of your
desktop including icons, wallpaper, start menu, start button and more. At anytime, you can select
other downloaded themes (More Themes tab), or choose Windows Vista Desktop to return to the default
look and feel.

I don't see the theme I purchased. How do I add it?
When you purchase a MyColors theme you will receive an e-mail that includes
a registration code. Click on the My Themes tab and then on the Add
Registration button to start downloading your theme. Enter your e-mail
address (the one we sent the registration code to) and the registration
code then click OK. Your theme will begin downloading automatically.

Where can I find my files?
By default MyColors installs its files into the directory C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors. Unless you have changed this setting during installation, this is where your files will be.
If you do have other versions of Stardock software installed (e.g. enhanced versions of WindowBlinds), the installer will not overwrite them. Instead, it will use those versions to apply the suites.

How do I change themes?
MyColors will install a shortcut on your desktop. If you’ve removed the shortcut you can find the program in your Start Menu > All Programs > MyColors. Open the program.
The theme you have purchased will be immediately available to customize your PC desktop (and in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\ThemeManager for future use). Simply double-click on the desired theme, or click "apply".

MyColors utilizes proprietary technology that resides outside of Microsoft’s operating system, we

My theme doesn't look right, what should I do?
MyColors uses the latest video technology. If your display does not look the way that it should, please make sure that you are using the most current drivers for your video card. Most video card manufacturers offer drivers from their website.

How do I switch back to the standard Windows Theme?
Simply open the MyColors program and select “Windows XP Desktop”. MyColors will switch everything back to the standard XP interface.

How do I uninstall MyColors?
You can uninstall MyColors the same way you would any other program:
Go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Find the MyColors program and uninstall it.
Note: This does not deactivate your MyColors account with Stardock. If you intend to install the theme on another computer and you have problems please contact
support@stardock.com.
