Object Zip was designed to make dealing with compressed files (starting with the popular ZIP format) files much easier. In short, ZIP files behave much like standard folders do. Double click on the archive and drag and drop to and from it, run programs from within it and eventually to save files right into them from the Windows file dialogs. Right click on the object and extract the entire contents of it to anywhere you want.
Because it isn't a stand alone product, there's no need to put in a number of
unnecessary features that merely increase the size and complexity. The idea behind
Object Zip is to just do one thing very very well: work with your compressed files in the
fastest, easiest way possible. So there's no bothering with "wizards" and it
doesn't try to take over your system and turn ZIP files into some sort of psuedo file
system.
