WinStyles
is designed to allow the various Object Desktop components to work
together. You can build a complete desktop environment and save
it. Or download a suite from WinCustomize
to use someone else's desktop design.

WinStyles
talks to the Object Desktop programs on your system such as
DesktopX, WindowBlinds etc. Instead of wondering what each program
does, WinStyles handles it all for you. You no longer worry what
does the skinning or icon changing or theming, WinStyles does it
for you.

You
can use WinStyles to create and apply suites that make Windows
appear similarly to other operating systems...

Or
you can use WinStyles to make your desktop look completely new.

Want
to share your desktop with others but didn't create the actual
skins and themes that make it up? WinStyles can create .suite
files in which can then be traded. When WinStyles applies a .suite
file, it will go out and download the necessary parts it needs.
The skin author's skin on those sites gets its download count
incremented and maintains full control.

Apply
an entire suite of skins/icons/themes at once right from display
properties.

You
can even set the skin or theme of a particular program from the
XPThemes tab (rather than having to go through each program's
individual interface).

WinStyles
has some productivity value as well. It makes it easy to control
what loads on start-up. Ever wonder why your system takes so long
to boot up? Use WinStyles to turn off all the junk that's loaded
using up your resources and memory.

WinStyles
is designed to replace the "Themes" tab in display
properties. It treats both the Windows bundled enhancements and
third party ones as native parts of the OS.

You
can even apply WindowBlinds skins from here.

The
easiest way to change your MS Media Player skin? WinStyles.
