Process Commander FixKit 1

How to apply a FixKit
Follow these steps:

Download pcfix1.zip (http://www.stardock.com/support/os2/files/pcfix1.zip)
- Unzip pcfix1.zip
- Read the readme-file
- Run fix01.exe (This requires an Process Commander installation on
your hard drive. You must have your original PC at hand.)
- Reboot
After applying the FixKit, Process Commander has the version level 1.01.

How to backout a FixKit
Instpc does currently not support to save a backup version of Process
Commander in case that the new version does not work correctly. The
restore the old version, follow these steps:
- Insert the original PC 1.0 diskette
- start instpc.exe
- Install 1.0 (When you install into the same directory as before, you don't
have to deinstall first.)
- Install the latest FixKit that worked correctly.
You can also save all files in the PC-directory, boot from disk or another
partition and restore all files.

FixKit 1 (February 1, 1997)
- Master Setup: Fixed a problem when the hotkey entry field is empty and hotkey is
disabled. This is especially a problem for the "disable hotkey" pages.
- PCINSDLL: Improved way to hook the DOSCALL1.DLL. We recommend to
run this new pcindll on all systems where Process Commander is installed.
- PC FullScreen: Avoid a OS/2 bug that raised exception in pc.exe when pceapi.dll is there
while PC's DOSCALL1.DLL is not.
- Power Tools: Fixed a problem, s.t. shutdown.exe was not
working correctly.
- PC Assistant: Assistant was beeping unintendedly.
- Master Setup: Fixed double beep for Master Setup.
- PCINSDLL: Improved advanced process manipulations.
- PCINSDLL: Improved changing of the config.sys.
- PC Assistant: Probably fixed SYS3170 problem on shutdown.
- PC Fullscreen: New Parameter /NOBEEP for no beeps at all.
- PC Fullscreen: Performance Tuning and better activation.
- PCPM: Performance Tuning.
- PMSHELL: Corrected minor bitmap problem
- UNINSTALL: Improved pcinsdll for uninstall, uninstpc.exe for
WPS-uninstall.
- ACTVCOLL: fixed bug that made it loop indefinitely
- ACTVCOLL: now writes a logfile ACTVCOLL.LOG to the root directory
of the boot drive. If this file exists, this could be very helpful
for Stardock support.

- HOOKING: fixed a problem that caused all activity monitoring to cease
- PC.SYS: fixed handling of error conditions
- PC Fullscreen: new parameter /NOPM (cf. readme)
