Plymouth, MI. - November 17, 2015 - Stardock has announced that the new version of their popular political strategy game, The Political Machine 2016, released on Steam Early Access today.

In The Political Machine 2016, players will take to the campaign trail to win the hearts and minds of America’s voters and achieve victory in the 2016 presidential election.

"We’re bringing back one of our favorite, fun little games," said producer Patrick Shaw. "We have added new art, graphics, issues relevant to current events, and poll tracking, which will allow the player to monitor how candidates and issues are faring across the nation."

The game offers the player a choice of becoming more than twenty candidates such as Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and more. The player can also choose to create their own custom candidate, complete with their own unique avatar, political party, and hometown.

The Political Machine 2016 features current political topics from across the United States. Dozens of national issues including the Keystone XL Pipeline, human trafficking, and the Iran Nuclear Deal have been added for the 2016 campaign season, with more updates on the way.

"This game takes politics and brings them to the player in a way that is fun and interesting," said Shaw. "We are using realistic data to model the US and voters in the game. In a somewhat satirical way, the game emulates some of the unexpected things a candidate might have to deal with -- natural disasters, national tragedies, economic crises -- and immerses the player right in the middle of the insanity to see whether or not they can out talk, outsmart, and out spend their opponent."

The Political Machine 2016 is now available in Early Access on Steam for $9.99 at Visit  for more information.
