Derek Paxton oversees all the daily operations of Stardock Entertainment and is the lead designer of Fallen Enchantress, as well as the creator and designer of the Fall From Heaven series of games. Prior to joining Stardock, he was an external consultant for Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword and contributed to several of Firaxis' games, including Civilization V.
Chris has joined Stardock from the EdgeRunner software publishing unit to lead business development, operations and monetization strategies. He is an organization focused product and marketing executive with over 20 years of broad business leadership experience in the enterprise software, professional services, publishing and customer success industries. Chris was recruited for his industry experience, leadership skills and ability to drive profitable growth with high rates of customer success and reference ability.
Amy joined the Stardock team with extensive human resource management experience in diverse corporate settings and industries including manufacturing, healthcare and education services. Her passion for aligning talent and business objectives positions her well as an employee champion and organizational change agent for Stardock. She currently leads operations which includes HR, Finance, Administrative Services and Legal. Her company-wide focus is on increasing productivity and fostering workplace engagement.
Chris brings enterprise marketing expertise within the technology industry to Stardock. She joined the team with a distinct viewpoint from years both agency- and corporate-side in product, global and integrative marketing. Chris has worked with some of the largest brands extending across materials and chemistry, high performance computing, mixed reality and software. She currently translates her executive experience at Stardock by leading the marketing team and strategic initiatives which result in revenue generation and position the company as a driver of innovation.
Kris Kwilas has extensive experience in project management and in coordinating the efforts of Stardock's dispersed international development team. He has an excellent track record of being able to pull all these developers together and release projects on time and on budget.
Kris Kwilas manages Stardock's technology infrastructure as well as its immense server infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
A 19-year veteran of the video game industry, Brian spent the first part of his career as the publisher for Adrenaline Vault and was a co-founder of NewWorld.com. He moved to the development side of the industry when he joined Stardock in 2005 and enjoys being able to contribute to so many different projects. He’s worked with Ironclad Games, Gas Powered Games, Take 2 Interactive, Jack of All Games, Synnex and many other studios as a producer and as Director of Publishing.
