MMO aspect

I don't know about the rest of you but I would be very interested in an MMO version of Star Control.
Players owning starbases/planets that can be upgraded
Team combat
Base/planet assaults
Crafting modules, weapons, ships
Exploring
Resource gathering
and so on
Am I the only one in this?
