Star Control Origins Earth Rising v.1.70 - sevearl quest messages and popups show code instead of proper text

Hi,

after playing and finishing the base game, I decided to buy the expansion "Earth Rising".

However, after installing it and running the game, instead of the mission logs or advisor messages, I see game code object references, such as: "Popup_FirstOfficer_EpsilonTrireme" or "Popup_FirstOfficer_MeetNorast".

Even the base on Mars appears in the planet scan map as "UI_PlanetScan_OldColony".

In the game's installation folder error log files appear such as Error_Thread00.txt or SYSTEM_ASSERT_Thread01.txt.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but with no difference.
