Messy Buu, you obviously have a very limited understanding of the Open Source Community at large, your comments are very broad and tend to miss the fact that while there are many in this community who are as you describe, there are many others who take open source and their commitments to it very seriously. Not to mention the fact that many fine programs have come or at least started here. Many have died, many more survive and have entered the manistream, and certainly compete well with the rest of the software communities fare. Open source has long since become part of the mainstream via the Linux community and sadly for people like yourself is now a very viable alternative to the existing norms you cling to. Get used to it.
