Carbon Scrubbing undervalued

It seems a lot of the FFA games I've played carbon scrubbing is the first patent taken. Perhaps it's too cheap. It's definitely one of the most powerful patents and particularly helps you in mid/late game when everyone switches to producing electronics for offworlds and chems for research.

Shouldn't it be readjusted upward to cost more chems to reflect its value?
