Ceres building auction discrepancy.

If I understand correctly auctions for advanced buildings like optimization centers don't start until at least day 3, correct? Did you forget to take ceres' short days into account? I keep seeing day 3 (equivalent to mars hour 17) auctions for valuable buildings in ceres replays.
