Things I've never seen the AI do. and should

Things I've never seen the AI do:

1) Use commanders

2) Attack starbases

3) Destroy shipyards

4) Create more than one economic starbase for compound benefits

These seem like routine and normal for a human player, but I've never seen the AI do any of them.
