Plithi mission stuck (Spoilers)

So:

1) I met the Plithi got infected

2) Visited the Phamyst, as it was close, and had lots of battles, barely got out alive with 5 crew remaining. 

3) Went home to get more crew, but was refused until I got rid of the Plithi infection. 

4) Went to Tywom, need Super Fluids for the infection cure. 

5) Found a planet with Super Fluids, but can't land as I don't have enough crew members. 

So I'm essentially stuck with not enough crew to land, but no Super Fluids to use the cure. 

Is there any way out of this?
