Series Dead?

So it's been over 5 years since the release of legendary heroes and although we've had a DLC and/or patch here and there the game has largely fallen off the radar. Is there any intention of releasing a new one?

Please don't give me the whole "sorcerer king blah blah" thing, they might have occurred in the same universe and even part of the overall timeline but they are very different games and the sorcerer king isn't nearly the game that fallen enchantress was. Sorcerer Kings limited scope just didn't do it for me. I played it over and over wanting to like it but it's just not the same thing and will never compare. 

Paradox is releasing the newest Age of Wonders (Planetfall) this upcoming year, they moved away from the whole fantasy approach and although the game looks good it's not going to fill the same notch that Elemental and the older Age of Wonders have. 

So since we've heard nothing from Stardock and there doesn't appear to be a new fantasy version of age of wonders, does anybody know a similar RPG 4x that's similar? I wasn't a huge fan of the King Auther series, eador, or the heroes series either.
