    • Graphics: 2 GB GDDR5 NVidia GeForce 660 / AMD R7 360 or better
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 8 GB available space
    • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Sound Card
    • Additional Notes: 1920x1080 Display Resolution or Higher; additional disk space will be required during Early Access

Where do I report bugs / crashes?

As a rule, it is always best to ensure that you have done the following before reporting any issues:

-Update Video Drivers

Please make sure your video drivers are up-to-date. Even if they are current, a full remove and reinstall, would be prudent.

While it's a bit of work, we have found that the free DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) app to be very effective, and trustworthy, to fully uninstall all current video drivers, related files, and registry entries for both Nvidia and AMD.  Again, it's not necessary, but if you want a fully clean video driver install, this is a fine app to do it.

-Min Spec Mode:

If you are having graphical issues, try running the game in 'Min Spec Mode':


-Force the creation of a new settings.ini file

Sometimes a settings change could cause unforeseen issues. To test this, go to:

\Documents\My Games\Siege of Centauri

Rename the settings.ini file to settings.old

Running the game again (should it run at all) will produce a new default settings.ini


-Reporting an issue:

  • A full account of the issue including any steps to reproduce the it
  • Screenshots / video of any issue if possible
  • A link (DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive, PasteBin) to your runlog.txt and settings.ini file located here:

    And an export of your DXDiag:

Also, if you are experiencing crashes, PLEASE fill out the crash reporter, with a valid email address, that shows after any crash in the game happens.  This is immensely helpful for us.

 

 


How can I edit my settings for the game manually?

Settings for the game (resolution, graphic quality and the like) can be found here and edited with any text editor:

\Documents\My Games\Siege of Centauri\settings.ini

 
 

How can I restart my campaign progress?
 
From the main menu, under 'options', there is 'Restart Campaign' button:
 
 
 
 
 
No towers available, I cannot save games or settings?
 
While it would be prudent to disable any antivirus app you have running and try again, this is likely related to Windows Defender's 'Controlled Folder Access' not allowing the game to write files.  To test if that is the case, please see the following to turn it off:
 
 
Try to save a game or settings.  If it works, you can set up and exemption for the game exe installed here by default:
