Need to be logged into Tachyon to play the Daily Challenge

I have been playing Off the world trading company on Steam. Recently, when I hover over the Daily Challenge Button it says: 'You need to be logged into Tachyon to play the Daily Challenge'. 
 
I found this link https://forums.offworldgame.com/477737/cant-find-online-games-and-play-daily-challenges-cant-connect-to-tachyon, and have tried to Verify Integrity of Game Cache" in Steam, but it did not work.
 
Could you please help?
