Update old version

I just installed my old copy of Sins. I do have Sins-Rebellion but I decided I would like to try the original after long years and many versions of Windows later. I installed it and it runs under Windows 10 just fine. I clicked on "Update" and went through all the Stardock log stuff but I cannot find anything about updating my old game. Any help is greatly appreciated.
