Midterm elections

I have a federation government.  I get a notice that in 6 months there will be an election.  Every time I see I am told I have 6% election approval, every time.  I then win the election with 75% of the vote, AGAIN.  Is this warning updated by looking what my actual election approval is before it is flashed on the screen
