1UP Has Their Take on the Elemental Preview

Today we have another published preview of Elemental: War of Magic, this time from the crew at 1up.com! “Elemental: War of Magic is One More Side of Dungeons & Dragons If Dungeon Keeper lets you play as one of D&D's evil overlords, then Elemental lets you play as the king (or queen). The last time we saw Elemental: War of Magic , it was still in the early stages of development -- it resembled a paper map with some icons scattered around. Now that things are much further al... IGN Gives Their Impressions of Elemental: War of Magic

IGN got their hands on a preview of Elemental: War of Magic, and have published their updated impressions of the upcoming game from Stardock. “In case you haven't been following along with coverage on this title, Elemental: War of Magic fuses turn-based strategy gameplay with role-playing elements in a high fantasy world. Once a game begins it's up to you to scour the terrain, acquire resources, build towns and try to secure a victory, which Stardock says will be possible in a nu... [read more]

Elemental Preview from GameSpot

The previews for Elemental: War of Magic are rolling in this week, and the latest to hit my inbox is from the fine folks over at GameSpot.  “Our brief tour with the game covered several other additions to the game, such as combat balancing, which is currently intended to fairly let players who focus on combat develop a small army of highly trained warriors equipped with pricey weapons, but to put them on even ground with players who pursued a different research path, such as civi... Sins: Trinity Review from ZTGD.com

Another review I wanted to post from not too long ago was from ZTGD.com.  They gave their review of Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and rated it an 8.5 and gave it their Editors Choice Award! “I believe the best thing I can say about Sins of Solar Empire: Trinity is that it's a black hole of your free time. You're going to find yourself zoning into the game and when you finally snap out of it hours will have flown passed. Trinity is a great value pack for any PC gamer who hasn't j... [read more]

Trinity Review from The Gamer Access

TheGamerAccess.com reviewed Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity a while back, and I wanted to post their thoughts and impressions.  They also gave Sins: Trinity an 8.5! “All in all, Sins of a Solar Empire is an absolute must-have if you enjoy strategy games. The game successfully finds the middle ground between difficult-to-learn 4X games and click-heavy RTS games. SoaSE gives you time to relax instead of constantly building stuff (like Command and Conquer), but you are still doing so... [read more]

ApertureGames.com Review of Sins: Trinity

Aperturegames.com has reviewed Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, and gave it an overall score of 9! “Diplomacy and Entrenchment aren’t typical expansions. They don’t add new races, or many new units. They aren’t about drowning the player in new features, but refining the elements of the original game. Ironclad Games have shown a surprising degree of self awareness in identifying and solving problems.” Read the full review at Aperturegames.com . [read more]

IncGamers Elemental Interview with Brad Wardell

IncGamers.com have published their recent interview with Stardock’s Brad Wardell about the upcoming PC game, Elemental: War of Magic .  “ As you might expect for a game with "magic" in the title, the most intriguing aspect for us is the magic system itself. I won't talk about Stardock's stellar reputation as a game developer, or its principled stance as a publisher. Why Ironclad is so successful so quickly

I work at Stardock and those of you who follow my journals know I’m pretty opinionated (see “ Kudos to Good old Games ”, “ Happy about Steam ”, “Don’t blame the pirates”) .  So let me give my 2 cents on why the young studio, Ironclad Games is already so successful.  I’m not speaking for them. BigDownload's Interview about Sins: Diplomacy

Big Download had a chat with Stardock’s Brad Wardell about Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy recently. “ The second mini-expansion, Diplomacy, sounds like it will have less of a combat focus this time.
