Opportunities to chat with the developers?

To whom it may concern; I, along with several friends, run an independant video game podcast. ( www.therumblepack.com ) We have over 30 episodes under our belt and we have a pretty consistent (if a little tiny) fanbase. We were interested in discussing with anyone from Ironclad the motivation behind publishing with Stardock and thoughts on DRM and copyright protection. While I'm the biggest fan of sins on the podcast everyone was interested in talking to a group of developers who are will... [read more]

100,000 sold by second week...

Sins of a Solar Empire has sold over 100,000 units in its first 2 weeks since launch!  And as happy as we are about its great sales, the number of sales could have been even higher if we had had the stocking levels of say, a console game. Bit-Tech's Review of Sins

The folks over at Bit-Tech.net have given their review of Sins, and they take a great in-depth looks at the gameplay and graphics. Sins Video Contest - Get Your Gameplay Video in PC Gamer

Since early on in the public beta test, users have been recording gameplay videos of Sins of a Solar Empire to show the game off to friends.  This works out great because Sins is a game that demos very very well and it was easier to get the point of the game across in video than in words on a forum.  And since the game became widely available earlier this month, we've been seeing more and more Sins gameplay videos cropping up every day. So, we thought to ourselves "Why don't we d... [read more]

More Sins Reviews Arrive...

WOW. On behalf of Stardock and Ironclad, I can say we're just incredibly pleased and thankful for the positive reviews that Sins of a Solar Empire has gotten. Most gamers probably think of games they see at the store being developed and published by huge companies. GameSpy: Editor's Choice Award

GameSpy has released their review of Sins of a Solar Empire. The first review from one of the major game magazines.  From the review: The reason that Sins of a Solar Empire works is that it truly respects and celebrates both styles of strategy gaming.
